Remembering David Keller

Dave Keller was a dedicated family man who leaves behind his wife Carol; son Eric and his wife Heather and their children Isaac, Abraham, and Malachi; son Drew and his wife Susan; and daughter Marley. Dave grew up in Lancaster and spent his life giving to the community. After attending Princeton University and Temple University School of Law, he worked at the National Labor Relations Board and at the law firm Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel in Philadelphia. Dave was an attorney for Barley Snyder in Lancaster for more than three decades, including eight years as managing partner. He was a member of numerous local boards and charities, including the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where he was a past board chair and received their 2018 Exemplar Award. Dave enjoyed golf, Broadway shows, having a cigar with his buddies, and spending time with his family - although not always in that order. On August 3, 2019 Dave passed away after a two-year fight against pancreatic cancer.
Dave was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2017 and received treatment from the Penn Medicine system, both in Lancaster and Philadelphia. He was especially impressed with Dr. Mark O'Hara's warmth, knowledge, and dedication to his patients. Dr. O'Hara's research provided Dave the opportunity for clinical trials that he otherwise would not have been able to access. Please donate in Dave's memory to make these opportunities and potentially groundbreaking treatments available to others.
