The Scott R. Nemitz Lung Cancer Research Fund

In Loving Memory of Scott Nemitz
The Scott R. Nemitz Lung Cancer Research Fund has been established to help advance life-saving research and treatment of lung cancer.

Throughout his life and especially in his fight against cancer, Scott always demonstrated remarkable strength and determination. He was an extraordinary individual who found the strength and courage to persevere in the face of overwhelming adversity. His strength was a beacon of hope and everlasting light, his spirit an indomitable force, and his heart a source of immortal promise.

Scott will forever be remembered for his unfailing selflessness, generous heart, compassionate spirit, and great capacity to bring happiness and joy to others. His remarkable strength, courage, and enduring sense of humor in his battle against cancer were an inspiration to all whose lives he touched.

It is in this spirit that this fund has been established in memory of Scott.
On behalf of Scott, his family would like to express its sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center for the community of care and compassion that embraced him in his battle against lung cancer.
